WHEN YOU SUPPORT OUR AUTHORS, WE’LL REWARD YOU

Everyone who joins BooksOffice receives tickets which can be used to buy books, or to vote for authors in our projects. Every TICKET you have gives you either

1. a vote or

2. A nominal value to be used for book purchase (tickets have no cash value and cannot be used outside the BooksOffice system) When you collect sufficient tickets, you can use them to purchase books. The number of tickets you have  can always be viewed in your dashboard.

When you join us, we’ll give your FIVE FREE TICKETS. And you can earn additional FREE TICKETS when you invite people to join the site or when you purchase books. But you can also PURCHASE TICKETS – and when you do that, you will be directly supporting our authors and the development of our projects – and so we want to REWARD you!

YOUR STAR STATUS

In your profile page, you will see your Star Status. The number of completed Stars you have, affects your Star Status and the REWARDS you have earned. The higher your Star Status, the more REWARDS you receive. You earn more STARS (as well as VOTES) by PURCHASING TICKETS. The table below shows you how many PURCHASED TICKETS you need to achieve the levels of Star Status.

A GENERAL NOTE

The purchase of tickets on our platform is completely optional and is offered primarily as a method of you supporting our authors and the development of projects for the screen. There are alternative ways of earning free tickets for you to vote for our authors that are free of charge and we may, from time to time add further opportunities for you to gain free tickets. We offer our REWARD scheme in good faith and there are some very exciting chances to get involved and will work with our partners to develop more opportunities for you but please bear in mind the changeable nature of the production process and ONLY PURCHASE TICKETS being fully aware of the points below and accepting our full terms and conditions.

AVAILABILITY

All our rewards are subject to availability. Where the rewards is based on an event (ticketed or otherwise), a filming opportunity or appearance, the timing will be subject to our schedules and there may be a significant delay between the time when your reward is earned and when we are able to fulfil it. Filming schedules are subject to alterations and delays, sometimes without warning due to circumstances outside our control and in such situations we will do our best to re-arrange and/or offer alternatives but cannot take any responsibility for any loss that might result.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

Unless specifically stated otherwise, our rewards do not include travel or accommodation. For set visits, food and drinks will be provided. We will do our best to offer events and experiences that are as close to your location as possible, but filming can take place in many locations and you should bear in mind that travel may be required BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS for which rewards may require travel.

BOOK DOWNLOADS

Our FREE BOOK scheme is entered into voluntarily by our authors and gives you access to some of the great reads on our site. You can download the books in a suitable format for any reader that you have. You must download your choice of books within 30 days of the date on which you receive your REWARDS after which the REWARD will lose any balance of downloads remaining. NON TRANSFERABILITY

Whilst we will do our best to deliver the best experience to meet your needs, our REWARDS are not transferable or exchangeable in kind or in monetary value.
